LEED® projects: a source of inspiration

Bouthillette Parizeau seeks to build LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental standards) compliant buildings. The premise: to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life. Bouthillette Parizeau is proud to do the right thing as a moral initiative and the majority of our projects tend toward a philosophy of sustainable development.

Bouthillette Parizeau currently has 34 LEED® accredited professionals. This knowledge has helped towards the LEED® certification of the following buildings:

  • Louis Charland building, 31 Duke/801 Brennan ($9M);  - Silver LEED-CI® certification 
  • Ecole Polytechnique, Lassonde Pavilion ($105M) - Gold LEED® certification 
  • UQÀM, Biological Sciences ($95M) - Silver LEED® certification 

In addition to these achievements, other projects are registered with the Canada Green Building Council. Including:

LEED® is a certification system for the building industry created by the U.S. Green Building Council. It promotes energy efficiency, water efficiency, heating efficiency, sustainable use of regional materials. Today, the Canada Green Building Council is represented in several provinces.
